On 25th/26th April the club attended Strathclyde Park Regatta and the interlinked Scottish Student Championships. Amidst absolutely horrendous weather conditions our athletes proved their mettle. The Men won Champ 4- and Nov 2x with second place in Int 4+. The Fresher Women put in a strong performance in Nov 4+ to come third.
2nd-4th May gave a few of our athletes the opportunity to race against the best of the rest of Britain at BUCS Regatta. We had entries into Int Lwt 1x, Fresher 4+ and Women's Fresher 1x. The regatta gave the freshers excellent experience competing against the best crews in the country.
On 13th/14th June Strathclyde Park once again played host to the Scottish Championships. The regatta proved to be one of the most successful yet for the club, with wins in Men's Int 8+, Int 1x, Int 2- and 2nd in Men's Nov 8+, Women's Nov 4+ and Nov 8+. These results are a testament to the hard work and dedication from the club's members over the year.
